Memorial Day
Memorial Day is a day of recognition for our fallen comrades. Many Americans view this day as a Holiday—a day off work, a day to shop, a day for the lakes but….what does Memorial Day really mean?
It is a Day that has been specially set aside to pause and stop what we are doing. We should take a few minutes to offer a prayer or other means of respect for our uniformed men and women that have paid the ultimate price. This ultimate price has given us the many freedoms we so often take for granted.
The entire United States will be paying their respects for grandparents, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, daughters and sons. Old Glory will be flying proudly. Americans will be displaying the flags in cemeteries, businesses and homes as we honor fallen military from all branches of the service. For this land is considered the home of the brave. God Bless America.
